Books That Inspired Me To Write (Guest Post)
I wouldn't say there was one book specifically that inspired me to write. I read a lot of paranormal and fantasy books and actually started working on an urban fantasy book first. I had the idea of Back To Us in my head, but wondered how much interest a story that didn't take place in some fantasy world or include fairies or vampires would generate. Then I read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and realized there is a lot of beauty in the simplicity of a good old-fashioned love story between fallible characters. That realization encouraged me to move ahead with Back To Us.
